BOOgers & HalloWEENIES

Each Halloween, several of our members host a grill-out of  BOOgers (burgers) and HalloWEENIES (hot dogs) in their neighborhood. “BOOgers and HalloWEENIES” helps create a meet-and-greet atmosphere for the local neighbors to connect with one another. It also provides a fun and safe environment for kids to enjoy the night and an opportunity to learn about the Greatest Treat of All. Each location will be filled with games, candy, and prizes for the whole family! If you’re in the neighborhood, come join us for a night of fun!

Easter worship

He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead
Matthew 28:6

Jesus Christ is risen!

If you are not part of a local church, please join us on Sunday, April 16 at 11:00 AM in celebration of our risen Lord and Savior!

Welcome!

Welcome to our website!

Our greatest desire as a church is to see God magnified and glorified through lives transformed by the power of the gospel. We believe in the good news that “the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all people!”

We believe that this grace of God changes us and trains us “to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives” in the assurance of “the blessed hope – the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:11-13). Our desire is that everyone will come to know and experience this amazing grace of God.

We know that finding a good home church where you can establish your roots, grow deep in your relationships, and serve to your greatest potential is very important. We strongly encourage you to take some time exploring and learning about the churches in your area.

If there is anything we can do to help you in your process of finding a home church, please do not hesitate to let us know.  Should you choose Grace Point as your home church, we’d love to journey with you in experiencing the life-changing power of God’s grace.

Commissioning Service

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering 2016

2016 Goal for GPCC: $2000

We will be collecting the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering every Sunday during December.

Starting in 1888, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® was established to empower the international missions efforts for Southern Baptists. After more than a century, the annual offering continues its steady growth. The National Goal this year is $155 Million. Your giving enables missionaries to be sent to make disciples and multiply churches among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God.

International Days of Prayer

persecution

Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies.    (Hebrews 13:3)

It may be difficult for us living in the US to imagine, but many believers around the world live in persecution for their faith every day.  The Pew Research tells us that over 75% of the world’s population lives in places where there are severe religious restrictions.  And many of the people that live in these places are Christians.  Christians in more than 60 countries face persecution every day in various forms.  Whether it be from the government or their neighbors, they are persecuted just for believing in Jesus Christ.  They are threatened, beaten, imprisoned or even put to death.

Scripture reminds us to pray for those who are persecuted.  Join us as we remember and pray for our brothers and sisters being persecuted all around the world.  Carve out time each day to pray specifically for Christians in places with most severe persecution.  Below is the list of the most persecuted countries for Christians in the world:

  1. North Korea
  2. Iraq
  3. Eritrea
  4. Afghanistan
  5. Syria
  6. Pakistan
  7. Somalia
  8. Sudan
  9. Iran
  10. Libya

Pray for God’s protection and guidance over the believers and their families.  Pray that God would encourage the believers to be steadfast in their trust in the Lord.  Pray that the church will grow even in the midst of persecution.  And pray that God would use even their suffering to spread His Kingdom to the ends of the earth.
