A house church is a regional community of faith shepherded by a lay-pastor (an Elder or an under-shepherd) that fulfills all the intrinsic purposes of the church (worship, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, evangelism and missions).
It is our foundational environment through which members and guests experience Accountability, Bible Study, and Community – a place of Acceptance, Belonging, and Care.
It is composed of 6-10 people meeting in a host home at least once a week. Each house church is partnered with a local ministry as it seeks to serve the community in which it gathers. It also impacts a global community by adopting and supporting a church planting movement among an unengaged unreached people group.
House Churches exist to promote and demonstrate the beauty and function of the “ekklesia” (church) as smaller communities of faith scattered and gathered throughout the Greater Atlanta area.
